At Peter Clarke one of our lettings agents will always accompany viewings so we are on hand to answer any questions prospective tenants may have about your property, the area or renting in general. Viewings are arranged at a time to suit you or any existing tenants living at the property.

We use a highly reputable independent referencing company to carry out detailed checks on all prospective tenants. These include employment checks, landlord checks and credit checks.

For landlords using our ‘let only’ service; you should receive your rent by standing order directly from the tenant on the rental due date each month (this is usually the date when the tenant moved in).

For landlords using our rent collection service or fully managed service; the rent will be processed by us the next working day and received by you the next working day after that.

This is for landlords who want assurance they are legally compliant, don’t want the stress of the day-to-day property management and numerous questions from tenants. It is particularly helpful for:

• landlords that are concerned they are not operating within the ever changing legislation (there are over 170 Acts & Regulations to comply with)

At Peter Clarke we have a ‘fair repair’ policy. Before calling out a contractor, we always try to assess the situation ourselves and respond appropriately. We also work with a trusted network of local contractors and regularly review their prices to ensure all our costs are at or below market rates, to maintain a competitive edge.
